Seven Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Maries and sister Dolores Reynolds of Princeton, ID. His brother and wife Lawrence and Jackie Derry of St. Earl is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Wanda Derry of Talent, OR and Rodney and Donna Sines of Princeton, ID. He was also a former member of the Benewah Co.

Earl was past president of the Harrison EMT's and served many years volunteering to help people. One of his favorite projects was constructing bee hives and running a honey bee operation to harvest honey. He was divorced in 1990 and moved to St Maries, ID. Earl later sold the farm and purchased 10 acres near the Harrison Junction of State Hwy 3 N. While working at the mill, he also had a 360 acre farm on Harrison Flats where he raised dairy cows. He worked for the Company in various aspects of mill operations. He was involved in the construction of the new mill built by Potlatch Co. until it burned down in the early 1960's. As a young man, he worked in the woods with his father and brother. He grew up at Sanders and Santa, ID He attended St. He was born Mato George and Minerva (Yunkon) Derry at Tekoa, WA. Maries area resident died Octoat his home following an extended illness.
